Example: If you have a Verizon phone, you need to insert a T-Mobile Sim Card inside the phone before turn it on.
1. Power on the phone.
2. Phone will said "MEP check failed. Do you want to enter MEP unlock code". Select Yes.
3. "Enter Network MEP code (# left)". Enter the unlock code.
4. Press Enter, you should see “Code Accepted”
5. You need to check Network Connection is set on GSM/UMTS. Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and make sure it GSM/UMTS.
6. Once GSM/UMTS is selected. You can now ready to make phone call.
Notice: If the network not working after your phone is fully charged and unlocking process “Code Accepted”. You must change from Verizon CDMA network to GSM Global Network a few times, after change from Verizon CDMA to GSM Global 3 times is completed, leaves it on GSM Global Network. Now it should work. To use this code: 1. From the homescreen of the BlackBerry, press the green call button to enter the phone. 2. Type in ##MSL CODE then the green talk button (ie: ##123456 Green talk button). 3. In order to perform a manual wipe of your entire BlackBerry, you will need to do the following: (This will erase all Data. Please do this was caution)

- Wait approximately 30 seconds until the SimLock application appears (the delay may be longer if the user has already attempted an unlock with the wrong code)
3) Enter the unlock code in the blank field
4) Press Ok
- If the unlock code is incorrect, an error dialog will appear. After pressing Ok on this dialog, the user has to re-enter the unlock code after delays (see above in Device Specific Information)

2) Phone says invalid smart chip
3) Now enter *#865625# then select option 1 and then again select 1
4) Enter your 16 digits code
5) Device should say: Network Lock Deactivated
6) The handset is unlocked.
How to Enter Unlock Code on LG CU720/TU720 (Shine):
1) Insert At&t SIM card
2) Power on the handset
3) Type *#865625#
4) the phone will ask you to input the unlock code twice, just input the unlock code
5) Device is now unlocked
If Above does not work
Try using a non-allowed SIM card (SIM that didn't come with the phone) and do the same steps for 2, 3, 4 & 5.

Troubleshooting
Error Message: "The SIM Lock has NOT been removed from this phone"
Solution 1: Please make sure you are entering the correct code and enter it using this method *#*#CODE# dial
Solution 2: If the phone says that the SIM lock has not been removed, ensure that the phone radio (wireless mode) is on.
If still having the error message "The SIM Lock has NOT been removed from this phone," the phone is likely refurbished and cannot unlock by code. Refurbished phones from the manufacturer are reflashed and take on a new IMEI. Because of this, the only way to unlock the phones is by software unlocking the phone.
How to Enter Unlock Codes on Treo 750:
1) Power on with incorrect sim, enter unlock code when prompted
2) Enter code using ON-SCREEN (NOT physical keys) keyboard when unlocking a Pocket PC Phones
If above doesn't work
Wait for the next timout to complete. Then HOLD the white key button on the far left of the keyboard and then enter the unlock code with the PHYSICAL keys, not On-Screen.
