4. Enter MEPD (not case sensitive), Note: When typing in MEPD, the letters will not appear on the screen

Then enter MEP Hold Alt Key and type number 2.  NOTE: You must use the "alt" key to enable numbers, example: enter MEP hold "ALT key" and enter 2.  Note: When typing in MEP2, the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the “Enter Network MEP” box.  If you do not see “Enter Network MEP” box, you didn't type in MEP2 properly.
 
 
Model:  7100, 8100, 8110, 8120 & 8220:

1. Press the Menu key
2. Scroll to Turn Wireless Off and press the trackball (Will show Turn Wireless ON).
3. Scroll to Options and press the trackball.
4. Scroll to Advanced Options and press the trackball.
5. Scroll to SIM Card and press the trackball.
6. Type MEPD (not case sensitive). Notice:  Keep in mind for mepd is meoop on these model.  Because oo = p.  Note: When typing in MEPD, the letters will not appear on the screen. This step opens up the personalization on the device.
7. Type MEP, then hold ALT key and type number 2.  Note: When typing in MEP2 the letters/number will not appear on the screen, this step open up the “Enter Network MEP” box. 
8. Enter Unlock Code
9. Press the Enter Key. (Make sure you press the Enter Key within 5 second or you have to enter the unlock code again).

 
Model:  8700, 8700c, 8700g, 8700r
Before you start, you MUST take out the Sim Card & turn OFF ALL wireless radios
1. Press the Menu key
2. Scroll to and select Manage Connections. Select Turn All Connections Off.

Method 1: Model: 9500, 9530 Storm, 9550 Storm 2, Telus, Bell Canada Storm Before you start, you MUST have an Unauthorized Sim Card inserted.  An unauthorized Sim Card is a Sim Card that is NOT belong to the provider of the phone.  Example:  If you have a Verizon phone, you need to insert a T-Mobile Sim Card inside the phone before turn it on.
1. Power on the phone.
2. Phone will said "MEP check failed.  Do you want to enter MEP unlock code".  Select Yes.
3. "Enter Network MEP code (# left)".  Enter the unlock code.
4. Press Enter,  you should see “Code Accepted”
5. You need to check Network Connection is set on GSM/UMTS.  Menu>Manage Connection>Mobile Network Options and make sure it GSM/UMTS.
6. Once GSM/UMTS is selected.  You can now ready to make phone call.
Notice:  If the network not working after your phone is fully charged and unlocking process “Code Accepted”.  You must change from Verizon CDMA network to GSM Global Network a few times, after change from Verizon CDMA to GSM Global 3 times is completed, leaves it on GSM Global Network.  Now it should work. To use this code:
1. From the homescreen of the BlackBerry, press the green call button to enter the phone. 2. Type in ##MSL CODE then the green talk button (ie: ##123456 Green talk button). 3. Issues with Q700 Motorola Slide Unlock Codes
If receive message: "WAITING FOR ACTIVATION A welcome screen will appear within 48 hours after purchase. If does not, call Custumer Care to check your account status. Until then, press menu to place emergency calls," you will need to press menu and the letter "L" at the same time, and the phone will be working.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Treo 650, 680, Centro:

1) Remove Treo battery, unplug cable
2) Insert incorrect a not allowed SIM card (one the phone does not accept)
3) Power on your Treo, 'Sim not allowed' is displayed, click OK
4) Go to the dial pad, and use the stylus to enter code *#*#CODE#. Then press 'Dial'. (substitute the word "code" with the unlock code we gave you).
5) Phone will reset and display 'sim lock removed'

Troubleshooting
Error Message: "The SIM Lock has NOT been removed from this phone"
Solution 1: Please make sure you are entering the correct code and enter it using this method *#*#CODE# dial
Solution 2: If the phone says that the SIM lock has not been removed, ensure that the phone radio (wireless mode) is on.


If still having the error message "The SIM Lock has NOT been removed from this phone," the phone is likely refurbished and cannot unlock by code. Refurbished phones from the manufacturer are reflashed and take on a new IMEI. Because of this, the only way to unlock the phones is by software unlocking the phone.

2) Phone will prompt for Network Pin
3) Use Code provided and press OK

ERROR MESSAGE: WRONG PASSWORD or INVALID CODE - If you receive one of these messages when entering the code for the Blackjack, the phone is likely to be refurbished. In cases like these, unlocking of the phone by code cannot be done, only by machine. Many cell phone shops do carry hardware devices (NsPro Box) to remove the unlock from the phones.

3) In the upper right hand corner, the SIM is flashing where the signal strength should be. On entering the code, a dialog box comes up saying authenticating code. It's unlocked. Enjoy.
In case you see the 'Waiting for Activation Screen', hit the menu key and the letter L key at the same time. The menu key is the top left key. Please download and install Sierra Watcher. Once you have Watcher installed put the non-Cingular SIM into the card and Watcher will prompt you to enter the unlock code. Please make sure to enter the unlock code correctly.


If your phone has a "JOGDIAL" (for example SonyEricsson K700i), then you must press the "down arrow" instead of the "left arrow" for step 3 & 5. By "Down Arrow" I mean directing the Jogdial down!

How to Enter Unlock Codes on Sony Ericsson Cell Phones (Most models):

1) For the unlocking of a locked Sony Ericsson no sim card is required.
2) Turn on the handset. Display will indicate 'Insert SIM.'
3) Press the left Arrow (<) button.
4) Press the star (*) button twice.

13) The handset is successfully unlocked.

NOTE:
1) When doing the first 5 Steps, you need to do it fast.
2) If you get NCK: (0), this means the phone is hard locked. The phone cannot be unlocked since there have been more than 5 wrong attempts.
3) If you have tried a few times and are getting 'Not Allowed', your phone cannot unlock due to too many wrong attempts made on the phone. Phone has been hardlocked.


How to Enter Unlock Codes on TM506:

1) Insert a T-Mobile SIM into the device.
2) From the main screen, press the Navigation key left.
3) Press the Star * key.
4) Press the Star * key again.
5) Press the Navigation key left.
6) The handset displays Network Locked.
7) Select OK.
8) Enter the 16 digit SIM subsidy unlock code.
9) Select OK.

How to Enter Unlock Codes on UTStarcom (all models):

1) Insert AT&T SIM card into phone
2) From the phone pad dial *#865625# and it will prompt for the code.
